Urs Heierli is lecturer for development cooperation at the University of St. Gallen. Once a year, some 25 students of the MIA (Master for International Affairs) department attend the course “Praxisprojekt Entwicklungszusammenarbeit” (Development cooperation in practice) that consists of 3 – 4 introductory lectures, 2 days of exchange and presentations between the students and collaborators of seco and SDC in Berne.
The students prepare group works for topics that are suggested by collaborators of seco and SDC. These group works are then presented in Berne and confronted with the reality and the practical views of the seco and SDC collaborators. The group works are then finalised and can be downloaded from this website. Some papers are in German and some in English.
